Overview of Services
The Board of Trustees of Employers Self Insurers Fund has engaged workers'
compensation industry recognized experts and professionals to manage
the day-to-day operations of the program. Our commitment is to make
Employers Self Insurers Fund the top workers' compensation program
in Louisiana.
Fund Administrator
In May of 2002, the Board of Trustees retained David Tatman and
Louisiana Insurance Consultants, LLC as the Fund Administrator.
David Tatman brings significant experience and expertise in the
area of workers' compensation fund management. Mr. Tatman has worked
with the largest and with some of the most successful self-insurance
funds in Louisiana. David also brings a great deal of legislative
and regulatory expertise to the table. He is currently serving his
second term as the Chairman of the Louisiana Association of Business
and Industry's (LABI) Workers' Compensation Task Force. The Task
Force develops the agenda on workers' compensation issues for the
states' largest and most prominent business lobby. In addition,
David serves on the Louisiana Association of Self Insured Employers
(LASIE) legislative committee. He has served on this committee for
several years and has been recognized twice with the LASIE Distinguished
Service Award for his contributions and accomplishments.
Service Company
In June of 2002, the Board of Trustees contracted with Management
Services USA, Inc. (MSI) for Third Party Claims Administration services.
Since 1978, MSI has been a recognized leader in developing and managing
workers' compensation and risk management programs. Headquartered
in Metairie, Louisiana, with over 500 employees and offices in 22

company committed to effectively managing and controlling costs

Today, MSI enjoys the reputation of being the premier service company
for workers' compensation in Louisiana.
Legal
Steve Glusman serves as general counsel for Employers Self Insurers
Fund. Steve is a partner in the law firm of Glusman, Broyles and
Glusman in Baton Rouge. Mr. Glusman is a recognized expert in workers'
compensation matters. Steve serves as the Chairman of the Louisiana
Association of Self Insured Employers (LASIE) legislative committee,
as position he has held for several years. He has been awarded the
LASIE Presidents' Award - the highest honor bestowed by that organization
- for his work on behalf of the workers' compensation self insurance
industry.
